Before I put up photo's of our recent trip to QLD, Im just going to put up a photo of our little boy in his big bed!
With the pending arrival of baby number 2, we needed to discuss the bedding situation.... do we just get another cot? or would Zeek go in a big bed alright? I knew He would be fine at night, cos he loves going to bed and actually asks to go to bed if we leave it too late! I was just worried about him not sleeping during the day. It's been a week and so far, so good. Although right now he is in his bed for his day sleep and I can just hear him playing around and talking to pooh bear.
He cried for 10 mins at the most for the first couple of nights.... but after that, he was fine. He's such an adaptable little bloke.
The funniest thing I think is, in the mornings when he wakes up he still calls out to mumma or daddy to come and get him, and when one of us go in he is still in his bed waiting for us to pick him up. He hasn't yet figured out he can actually get up and out of bed on his own and come out of his room. I thought he'd be onto it straight away and come running into our room in the mornings and start jumping on us.... I will be grateful while it lasts!
This is a photo Dan took the other morning after they had their shower.... he saw the camera, grabbed it and asked Dan to take a photo of him.... little poser!

oh wow, that's so cool he doesn't climb over it or knows he can get out- just your luck! We only put eli into a big bed at the start of the year when he 'discovered' how to get out of the cot...not cool.
Glad you're on maternity leave, wohoo- now you can relax a bit before the baby comes (well, not that you can with a toddler!)
Looks like you had a nice and very fun time with everyone in Sydney for Aunty Penny's 50th.
It's sad when they move into a big bed!!1

Oh the big bed, how exciting. Love seeing the pictures of your growing tummy. pregnant tummies are cool.
