CRADLE MOUNTAIN

This was the place I wanted to be for my 30th Birthday.......
And these are the people I wanted to spend it with.....

 snow angels!

Very friendly/confident wildlife at our doorstep!!

We stayed a couple of nights at Cradle Mountain Lodge which was just beautiful and wouldn't hesitate staying there if we ever decide to go up there again. There are HEAPS of short and medium walks which pretty much start at or next to the grounds of the lodge which we found very convenient.

It snowed the night before we arrived, so we were welcomed with the softest, fluffiest snow I have ever seen and the boys had an absolute ball playing in and amongst it.

Another thing we thought was worthwhile was doing the night feeding tour at Devils@Cradle The guide was very informative and you could really tell he loved his job. He also let us all pat a real life Tassie Devil!! Suprisingly his fur felt soft!- as to me it, looks very dry and coarse.

Isla barely 3 weeks old when we started our trekking around Tassie (moving house and moving interstate also since being born!).... still getting into a routine. Crazy? Not at all.... wouldn't have it any other way :)
