Isla's Blessing

The day after Oli's Birthday (5th August 2012), we had Isla's blessing. We were so grateful to all the family near and far that all put in so much effort to make this day so special for our family. Especially those that travelled from Launceston in the freezing whether and Chelsea, Sara and Ashlee (and their friend Alena!) that came all the way from the Sunshine Coast in QLD to be there with us. Thanks sooooo much. We really appreciated it :)

Dan gave her blessing and was assisted by Dad(Koro), Wayne(Grandad), and great-grandpa Jack! The blessing was just beautiful..... mum makes a copy of each of the grandkids blessings, so I'll try to remember to post it when she has time to finish it.

After the blessing we had a little gathering at Matthew and Blanches house. It was good to catch up with everyone there and spend a bit more time with those that made an effort to share this special time with us. We are also very thankful to Matthew and Blanche for opening their home for us to be able to do this.
